Sarah’s Story: From Fear to Freedom

What we do

At Hope at Home, we believe that the survivors of modern day slavery and human trafficking deserve nurturing and supporting in order to find dignity and rebuild their lives. Supportive hosts and a stable home are a perfect setting for developing independence and resilience. We work with referral agencies and hosts to facilitate a voluntary, adult to adult living arrangements between hosts and survivors exiting safe houses. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to find a hope and a future.

  • To fight the cycle of human trafficking in the UK by preventing survivor homelessness and re-trafficking.
  • Every survivor in the UK to be offered a place with Hope at Home hosts.
  • Provide survivors with the opportunity to lead healthy, resilient, independent lives and able to bring hope to others.
